About Our Services (free)

The Minnesota Somali Community Center is committed to supporting rideshare drivers, particularly those working with Lyft. Our goal is to provide drivers with the resources and assistance they need to navigate challenges, stay informed about their rights, and continue earning with confidence.

Our services are available in-person and virtually during regular business hours at our center located at: 2400 Park Avenue, Suite 242. Minneapolis, MN 55404.

Our Services

1. Deactivation Assistance

Has your Lyft account been deactivated? We provide step-by-step support to appeal deactivations, including:

• Reviewing deactivation notices and determining eligibility for an appeal.
• Assisting with drafting appeal letters.
• Providing legal or technical guidance to help reinstate your account.

2. App & Technical Support

If you’re facing issues with the Lyft app, our team is here to help with:

• Troubleshooting login or payment issues.
• Updating documents and profile information.
• Resolving ride disputes and account holds.

3. Driver Rights & Education

We educate drivers about their rights and responsibilities, including:

• Understanding Lyft’s terms and conditions.
• Preventing unfair deactivations.
• Knowing what to do in case of passenger complaints or safety concerns.

4. Legal & Advocacy Support

We work with legal experts to provide guidance on issues such as:

• Unfair deactivations.
